Season 12 of ABC's medical drama series "Grey's Anatomy" is not going to be easy on the power couple Ben and Bailey as the former will go through tough transitions on the professional front.

This was revealed by Jason George, who essays the character of Dr. Ben. In an interview, the actor revealed about the tension-filled season and also indicated at trouble in the conjugal paradise of Ben and Bailey.

As the wife has gained the position of chief of surgery at Grey Sloan, she is much more powerful than her husband who is now her subordinate. This change of power equation will be causing ripples in their life. Add to it the fact that she is earning way more than what he does and we have a recipe for some major clashes, which George has clearly indicated at.

Ben, on the other hand, is facing a tough time in his profession as well because he has become a surgeon from a general practitioner. The situation is trying him and to rub salt into injury, he gets embroiled in a controversy after a lockdown incident at the hospital.

He takes the risk of operating a pregnant woman, even in the face of the lockdown and absence of adequate medical equipment. This leads to an enquiry and Bailey, being at the helm of affairs, will have to appear before the committee and justify why and what he did.

According to reports, the actor also hinted at the turmoil in the lives of other people who will be bearing the brunt of the couple's strained relationship. He said that the personal and professional transition will affect Ben's rapport with everyone.

Well, whatever has come out on screen till date has been pretty intense with April and Jackson going through major stress after she finds out about his supposed plan to sue her for the custody of their baby. It looks like the show has more relationship drama in store for the audience.
