The release of George R. R. Martin's "The Winds of Winter", the sixth in the series of "A Song of Ice and Fire", is still shrouded in mystery. But some upsetting rumors have started doing the rounds after the season six trailer release of Game of Thrones, which may be related to the book.

According to reports, it is being said that the Mother of Dragons and the Imp will die. However, nothing about the death of Daenerys and Tyrion has been confirmed by the author in his yet-to-be-released book. Not even the makers of the TV show have said anything about the demise of these two pivotal characters.

As for the author, he seems to have hit a writer's block. He has halted his writing work. Rather he is interested in events and has two lined up. The first will see him taking interview of another writer Stephen King.

Another will see him hosting an event for Joe Hill ahead of his upcoming book "The Fireman". The event will definitely witness fans questioning Martin about the upcoming book and the fate of the characters. It remains to be seen how the author will tackle the curiosity.

Notably, it is being said that the surging curiosity of readers slowed down the release of the book which was to come before March 2016, even before season six aired. It distracted Martin a good deal and now it looks like, readers will have to wait for a considerable period, before they can grab a copy of the sixth installment.

Meanwhile, another report suggests that the two protagonists will die and season six will prove to give major spoilers for the book version. Still, the fans should be ready for some differences as HBO has already said that the TV show will take liberty and divert from the book.
