An American crime thriller television series created and produced by Chris Bernard and Doug Miro is the "Nacros". It was expected to premiere in August but updates regarding it lacks. There is possibility for a delay and even cancellation.

The show is based on the real life of the notorious Colombian drug kingpin Pablo Escobar who becomes a billionaire through production and distribution of cocaine.

The pilot season was about the events that took place in Escobar's life from the 70s when he entered the cocaine manufacturing business until his escape in 1992 from La Catedral prison.

Newman stood firm in its storyline, "That's not something we can change. To stretch that out beyond another season would be disingenuous of us. That story was always designed to have an ending." They will instead look for ways to continue with the story.

The Christian Daily reported: "The first season comes out, we get the reception, we're already headlong into season 2," said Newman. When asked on how the attention that Brazilian actor Wagner Moura (Pablo Escobar) got due to his performance in the series can affect the production, he said that this recognition has not changed how they approached the upcoming season.

Moura, who is a popular actor in his country, earned a nomination for Best Actor for Television Series Drama in the 2016 Golden Globe Awards for his lead role in the series. "Narcos" was also nominated for Best International Series in the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards that will be held on May 8 in London, reported the Christian Daily.

Season 2 was confirmed by Netflix through Twitter a few days after the release of its first season in August 2015. However no premiere date is announced of Season 2.
