So finally, the beautiful 33-year-old Oscar-winning actress, Anne Hathaway, is a mother of a beautiful boy.

She welcomed her baby with her husband, Adam Schulman, early on Thursday, March 24, in Los Angeles. The baby boy is called Jonathan Rosebanks Schulman.

"The baby is extremely healthy and is surrounded by friends and family in L.A.," a source said. "Anne and Adam are ecstatic to be parents."

"Adam has been really helpful and is so excited about the baby," the source said. "Adam and Anne are doing great as a couple and this whole baby process is a bonding experience for them both. 'One baby at a time,' she says but she would not mind another after this."

Hathaway and Schulman, 34, had started dating in 2008 after getting to know each other through mutual friends. He proposed in November 2011, they got married in September 2012 in Big Sur, Calif., and then she revealed that she wanted to be a mother someday.

Last November, she broke the news of her pregnancy, while she was in her second trimester.

"I want to have a family of a certain size. What size? Look, I'll start with one healthy kid, but I'd like to have a few naturally and adopt. I gotta get on it, you know?" she said at the time. "I'd like to have as many as I can afford, not just financially but in terms of time because you want to make sure each one feels special. I've had one goal in mind for the past 12 years, which is: get a movie, get a movie, get a movie. Now I might have to say: get a baby, get a baby, get a baby!"

This new year, she opened a new era in her life when she put up a photograph of herself in a tiny red bikini, with her growing baby bump.

"Happy 2016 to my beautiful Instafreinds!" she captioned the photo. "So, posting a bikini pic is a little out of character for me, but just now while I was at the beach I noticed I was being photographed. I figure if this kind of photo is going to be out in the world it should, at least, be an image that makes me happy (and be one that was taken with my consent. And with a filter.) Wishing you love, light and blessings for the year ahead!"
