"The Sims 4" fans can let out a cheer! Your favorite game is being launched on Xbox One and PS4 by game developer, Electronics Arts (EA). However, the dates are still hanging by the balance as the company may face certain technical problems in porting the game.

Released in September, two years ago, "The Sims 4," got a fairly good reception world wide. However, many gamers were hoping against hope that the company will release another version that will be compatible with their consoles. For now, only Mac and Windows PC users can play the game.

While the company has been tight-lipped about the plans to launch another "The Sims 4" for consoles, what fans have now is a mere speculation. Reports, however, suggest that the company plans to release the game by the end of this year on PlayStation 4 an Xbox One. But this news still awaits EA's confirmation.

As per recent reports, the company is facing challenges in porting the life simulation game to a new platform. This is the reason why the game's launch is being delayed and perhaps the only reason why it may be launched next year. However, fans are confident that EA will be able to successfully port the game before this year ends.

Another update "The Sims 4" says that the EA will also include "Pets" expansion in its game series. This is indeed an exciting development for the game fans as it will add more dimensions to the game. No official word has been given out by the company so far.

As of now, no official information has been provided by the company.
