The latest roundup from gaming world suggests an underwater gameplay for Bethesda's Fallout 4. Prior to any official announcement from the game developer, there had already been speculations swirling in the rumor mill about possible underwater features in the forthcoming DLC packs for the post-apocalyptic open world game.

Although information remains scarce, some eager fans have been keen on trying to unveil new secrets they have uncovered through their laborious data-mining efforts.

A Reddit user which goes by the name of "WilliamWallace2K14" revealed a slew of discoveries after sorting out Fallout 4's 'Far Harbor' DLC of including of what appears to be a giant squid as reported by Ecumenical News.

"Went digging through the textures and I found a texture map for a squid! Another possible new creature?," the Reddit user shared.

In addition to the interesting find, he seemed to have uncovered among piles of game files of what looks to be a harpoon gun. If the redditor's spoilers prove accurate, then we see some aspects of Far Harbor which could possibly include underwater combat plus some undersea exploration.

The Fallout fan's hunch may have a hint of truth to it given the fact that the setting of the game is located in an island largely surrounded by water just off the coast of Maine as reported by Ecumenical News.

Meanwhile, keen-eyed fans have also stumbled upon a new Easter Egg in the Fallout 4's recently released DLC pack, Automatron. Several speculations hint the possibility of something big is set to explode this June. Some reports indicate that the 'June' lunch box Easter Egg in Automatron may have some sort of connection to Bethesda's other rumored game, 'The Elder Scrolls VI'. For the uninitiated, the 'June' reference is linked to Bethesda's participation in the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 which takes place in June.

In another development, fans who anxiously wait for the release of 'The Elder Scrolls VI' this year would probably be disappointed. A launching this year is unlikely to push through given the company's preoccupation on 'Fallout 4' and 'Doom'.

"I should have never said a number because we have so many things," Bethesda's executive producer Todd Howard said as quoted by Christian Times.

He further noted, "You could add it up in different ways. You could say it's bigger or smaller. They're a long way off. I think the larger point was, no one should expect to hear about those [games] anytime soon. We always overlap projects. We just have more going on now that we had before."
