The sixth installment of the critically acclaimed and highly successful video game series Grand Theft Auto aka GTA will be better than all its previous installments.

If recent speculations and rumors are anything to go by, fans can be sure of experiencing more thrill and adventure in the upcoming series. The developers are past the map-building stage and work is going on in full swing. The production is now moving towards the storytelling mechanics as Rockstar North has made a job posting for a mission/technical scripter.

According to reports, they are using cutting-edge technology to give the smashing game a badass touch and it involves improved graphics and hardware performance. They have also thought of moving out of USA to give the gamers some refreshing adventure in a different setting. This is being considered in view of the numerous suggestions from fans who are keen to explore a new world.

Still, nothing is confirmed as the developers have not made any announcement or indicated towards any release. In fact, the executives are giving out vibes which indicate a late release and at least a gap of two or three years which means you may see it between 2018 and 2020.

The only consolation for fans is that the developers have affirmed work in progress which is going on at a good pace. The foundation has been laid and further construction has also begun but the team has still not decided upon the location for the next GTA.

Another rumor suggests that the team made enormous efforts to explore Tokyo and give the game a completely different twist. But the road system of the Japanese capital posed problems and therefore, the idea has been grounded.

It may be noted that GTA is one of the most popular video game series that revolves around motor vehicle theft. Till now, five installments have been released with the first debuting in 1997. The last of the lot i.e. GTA5 released in September 2013.
