With Season 22 of "Dancing with the Stars" going on in full swing, one interesting revelation has come out from reality show- The Bachelor's star Ben Higgins.

The bachelor of the recently concluded season has indicated that he received an offer to participate in the current season of the dance competition show, but turned down the offer owing to his personal commitment to fiancée Lauren Bushnell.

According to reports, the financial analyst refused to participate as he wanted to spend quality time with Lauren. Though he has not said anything categorically with respect to the offer he did hint at the numerous offers that came his way after he and Lauren became a couple on "The Bachelor" this year.

He emphasized that his relationship with Lauren is his first priority at present and he does not want anything to hamper their relationship which is in a nascent stage. He added that for him career comes second as currently he is more concerned about his future with Lauren.

This is in sharp contrast to another bachelor whose engagement failed due to his participation on the dance show. Chris Soules, who was the bachelor in the nineteenth season, just before Ben, participated in "Dancing with the Stars." And when he broke up with his fiancée Whitney Bischoff, it was said that her jealousy with his dancing partner Witney Carson was the main reason for their breakup.

It is noteworthy that Lauren and Ben are one of the few couples from "The Bachelor" who got engaged after the show ended. They have been reported to be one really adorable couple who totally dote on each other and do not fake it.

Both moved in together to live in Ben's place in Denver, Colorado just a few weeks back. The couple has also announced their wedding plans. They are looking forward to tie the knot very soon and are also keen to start a family.
