Huawei P9: Specs, Features and Release Date

Chinese mobile manufacturer Huawei in April are all set to release their new smartphone possibly their "flagship" device. It's called the Huawei P9. It's expected in the markets soon with smartphone market speculating it to be a hit in the consumer base.
A gigantic phone in size, it's sized at a possible 5.7-inches in size with weighing about 144 grams. There are two variants for the phone with either a single-sim Nano-SIM variant or a Dual DIM Nano-Sim variant. The display looks very crisp with Huawei opting for an IPS-NEO LCD display with 16M colors and a 5.2 inch full HD 423PPI pixel density.

It is secured by Corning gorilla glass version 4 on the front with the phone supporting multi-touch.
The phone runs on Android's latest operating system Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box. This is Huawei's possibly first phone with a Kirin 955 processor clocked at a quad-core 2.5ghz Cortex-A72 chipset or the quad-core 1.8ghz Cortex-A53 chipset.

It is supported by Mail-T880MP4 GPU to help run the phone smoothly. The phone comes in two variants with a 3GB ram with a storage capacity of 32GB or a 4GB ram with a storage capacity of 64GB. The phone also houses a micro-SD card which can be inserted in the secondary sim slot which supports upto 128GB of additional storage.
In terms of camera, it comes with a dual-pixel 12MP sensor equipped with Leica optics which can record about full-HD videos at 30 framers per second. The front-facing camera comes with an 8MP sensor also capable of shooting 1080p videos. The phone facilities 802.11a/b/g/n and AC band along with Bluetooh v4.2 and also an NFC chip. Regarding connectivity and charging, the USB Type-C socket helps the phone to charge quickly.

The phone comes with a non-removable 3000mah lithium-ion battery. Users can opt for about half-a dozen colors to choose from White, Haze Gold, Titanium grey, Mystic silver and pretige gold.
