MacBook Air 2016 Release Date and Rumors Update: Is June 13 the Release Date?

Apple's MacBook Pro is one of the most awaited laptops this year and as the days pass, the speculation about its release is gaining more and more traction. Rumor has it that the company will announce its MacBook range in June this year.

So far, Apple has not revealed any information about its MacBook Pros. However, since they are holding WWDC on June 13, it is safe to assume that the MacBook Pro will be unveiled on that very date.

The fans and industry experts were looking forward to see MacBook Pro on March 21. However, the event only launched iPhone SE and a 9.7-inch iPad Pro. Based on these events, the next probable date is June when Apple is likely to announce the models.

There will be two variants likely to be launched with MacBook line. One will feature a 13-insc screen while the other one will be 15-inch. Both these variants are rumored to come equipped with sixth generation Intel SkyLake processors. This

new chipset will improve the battery life of the laptop significantly.

Another speculation around MacBook 2016 is that the models are expected to be thinner than their predecessors, just like Air. Internet buzz also suggest that the notebook will feature Retina Display and OLED displays. The laptop will offer 9-hours of battery backup, Touchpad activated by Force Touch, Siri for Mac, USB Type-C, Touch ID and external graphic support.

The 13-inch laptop will most likely cost around $1500 and the 15-inch variant will be priced at $2800. Along with Pro models, Apple is also rumored to be working on a 12-inch Air model which is also expected to be released at WWDC event this year in June.
