Xbox One and PS4 enthusiasts can rejoice as their favorite game, "The Sims 4," the popular simulation personal computer game will finally be released for the Sony and Microsoft consoles too. The speculated date is around late 2016 or early 2016, with an added expansion, "pets," as well.

Several reports are contemplating the game release as EA is in the process of getting the game out on Xbox and PlayStation. However, the porting of the video-game is not without challenges. The company is facing technical issues which is affecting the release date of the game. This may, however, mean that the Xbox and PS4 release of "The Sims 4" may be delayed till the end of the year or by early next year.

According to recent reports, the original plan was to get the game out on to Xbox One and PS4 after two years of its release in September 2014. By that logic, the game must technically arrive in September 2016 if EA is able to stick to the deadline. However, now with porting issues, it is possible that the launch might get delayed.

Other reports about "The Sims 4" say that EA is also planning to add a Pets expansion in its popular game franchise.

The survey results reveal that "The Sims 4" gamers are excited about the Pets expansion pack in the latest offering of the popular game. As per the EA survey form, the players were asked for their opinion about a town that focused on pets. The findings of the survey suggest that if the pets expansion pack is included in the game, the gamers will be able to either adopt the pet or create one. They can choose among horses, frogs and cats.
