Expanding beyond smartphones and tablets, China's Xiaomi has launched stylish $145 Mi Air Purifier.

Xiaomi Air Purifier is only available in China as of now, like a lot of Xiaomi tech when first launched. The preorders for the purifiers start at 6pm in China today while the full sales will commence from December 16.

The air purifiers equip dual fan and four air duct making the system capable enough to produce 10,000 liters of clean air per minute. According to Xiaomi, this air purifier can filter out 99.99 percent of the harmful PM2.5 air particles.

Mi air purifier comes with an accompanying remote control app that sends useful notifications such as reminder when you need a replacement filter.

By the way, the replacement filter for the air purifier would cost $32.

Xiaomi has the third largest smartphone manufacturer based on shipment number, but the company has a growing line of other products as well.

Apart from air purifier, Xiaomi also offers $20 routers, a tablet device, power bank, a blood pressure measurement kit, a smart TV and a cheap fitness band. According to rumors, the company will introduce smart watch very soon too.

Air pollution in Chinese cities is a growing concern. Before Xiaomi, Lenovo had also introduced smart air purifiers.
