Microsoft products are once again available for slashed prices, spurring rumors that the company may be on the verge of releasing some new products in the next few months. The largest discount has been offered on Microsoft's latest Surface Pro 2-in-1 range, Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book.

Interested buyers can avail a discount of up to $100 on the official Microsoft score offered on Surface Pro Intel Core i5 variant, which is now available for $1,399. The slashed prices, however, are not applicable on Intel Core i7 options. Not only this, Microsoft Store will give additional $30 on Surface Dock when bought along with Surface Book. The offer is valid until April 9, 2016.

For more deals, the shopper can log onto Amazon.com to enjoy greater discounts on its Surface Pro laptop range. The online retailer will run the promotion only until stocks last. Base model Intel Core M option comes equipped with 4GB RAM and 128 GB Solid State Drive. It is available at slashed prices of $841.99. However, the more sophisticated, Intel Core i7 with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD laptop starts at $1,995.

Even though the rumors are rife about the anticipated release of Surface Pro, it is possible that the company will stick to its release schedule that they normally follow and will likely launch their new device into the market only next year sometime.

But, some reports are already speculating possible technical specs of the new generation laptop that will include better battery, sleeker design and a surface pen that is rechargeable. No official statement has been released by Microsoft regarding its new Surface Pro yet.
