Brazilian striker Neymar Junior, who forms an integral part of one of the most devastating forward lines in club football history at Barcelona, could be heading out of the door at Camp Nou if reports by French publication L'Equipe are to be believed. The Brazilian joined the Catalan club back in 2013 from Santos after Barcelona managed to land his signature following a protracted bidding war with the likes of Chelsea and Real Madrid. However, the French publication believes that Parisian club Paris St. Germain, who are owned by the Qatar Investment Group, are willing to stump up the $219 million that would trigger his release clause and bring him to Paris.

PSG have been pursuing Neymar for some time now and they believe that they can get their man, considering the fact that the Brazilian wants play outside the shadow cast by Lionel Messi. In addition to that, the Brazilian contingent at PSG is also a huge factor. However, the most telling bit of information is that Neymar's agent Wagner Ribiero is open to a move and went on record saying, '... if PSG showed interest in Neymar, we can discuss.'. He further added, '$219 million...I do not think this is an insurmountable problem for PSG'.

PSG are in the market for a new super star as their current world star Zlatan Ibrahimovic is all set to leave the club this summer at the end of his contract and Neymar has emerged as the prime target for the Qatar backed club. Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo is another option as well but according to sources, it is Neymar who is their priority for the summer and they have made their intentions clear by offering to pay his release clause. Neymar has forged a devastating partnership with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez at Barcelona and has won both the La Liga and the UEFA Champions League during his three seasons at the club. A move to Paris might provide a new opportunity and also a chance to be the primary attacker at a super club.
