Star Wars has been one of the most successful movie franchises ever created. Following the recent success of the Force Awakens, many avid fans are on an eager lookout for new bits of information despite the scarcity of official updates.

While information remains scarce, actor Adam Driver revealed some updates on what to expect from Star Wars: Episode VIII. During a special screening of Midnight Special, the actor behind the Kylo Ren character did mention a handful of hints on the next installment.

"They're still at war. It's still Star Wars. They're not at peace," said Driver as quoted in a report by Entertainment Weekly.

When asked about his work experience in the film set following a directorial shift from J.J. Abrams in the Force Awakens to Rian Johnson in Episode 8, Driver noted a difference in the temperament of the two directors. During the interview, he sounded pretty much excited on how things are going so far even throwing some positive comments on Johnson.

"I think it's more of a testament to Rian coming into something very established and making it [his own]. I can't wait to get on set, just because he's so unassuming and intelligent and approachable. The script they've come up with is really great," said Driver as quoted by iDigital Times.

The upcoming installment is slated for theatrical release some time in 2017. In addition to most actors with reprising roles, a number of new faces are expected in Episode VIII like actor Benicio Del Toro and actress Laura Dern. With the new movie, viewers are expected to delve into an in-depth immersion of the franchise's spin-off stories.

Meanwhile, Comic Book Resources has just announced the release of another LEGO trailer for the 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' featuring notable characters and heroes from the franchise movie according to Movie News Guide.
