Dallas Cowboys has rumors spreading about which players the team will draft this month. It was reported that the team had worked out Christian Hackenberg on Wednesday, making more fans to wonder who the Cowboys will pick.

The Cowboys has the No. 4 pick in the draft. Team owner, Jerry Jones, reportedly has stated that the Texas team isn't planning on using that pick to draft a quarterback, but the workouts lead many to think otherwise.

It was reported that the Cowboys had a dinner and black board session with Christian Hackenberg on Tuesday and held the private workout this past Wednesday, according to NFL.

Hackenberg was first spotted when he played for Pennsylvania State University, coached by Bill O'Brien. The 6-foot-6 player had shown to have a good year, but then appeared to struggle in the last two seasons when O'Brien left to coach the Texans, according to NBC Sports.

Though many say that there is great potential in Hackenberg joining the NFL, the way he blamed the new team coach, James Franklin, for his struggles made many NFL teams question if he truly is ready for the big league.

Dane Brugler of CBS Sports spoke earlier in the drafting process about the football player's weaknesses and how it can make him not likely to be picked.

"Although he has special arm talent, the tape shows flawed decision-making, poor pocket awareness and streaky accuracy due to unstable mechanics. There is no question that Hackenberg will benefit from NFL coaching, but the game still moves at light speed for him and hasn't shown signs of slowing down - is he already damaged goods?"

He continued, "Overall, the physical traits and arm strength are ideal for the NFL, but Hackenberg doesn't show a natural feel for the game and lacks a strong grasp in three critical areas of playing the position: touch, placement and decision-making."

A NFL news reporter said that the Dallas team is in need of a young QB to be behind Tony Romo. They are considering three other quarterbacks. The others are Mississippi States' Dak Presscott, Memphis' Paxton Lynch, and Michigan State's Connor Cook.

Hackenberg is also scheduled for a workout with the Eagles on April 8.
