With Wonder Woman acquiring a fair share of limelight in the superheroes' drama, "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice," Gal Gadot, the actress, has emerged as a winner.

This success is definitely going to strengthen the prospects of her upcoming movie "Wonder Woman" featuring her in the lead, which is slated to release next year on 23 June. There is much anticipation and excitement among her ever-growing fan base that just cannot wait to see her in action.

The preceding act has earned her full marks from the audiences as well as the critics. The "Fast and Furious" actress and model has given one of her best performances, essaying the role of the Amazonian princess with flawless fervor.

She has won many hearts and men are drooling after the tall and sexy warrior. As per sources, even her co-star Ben Affleck has expressed gushing admiration and is reported to have said that she provokes in the audience a desire to be flirted with. Superman is also rooting as Henry Cavill said that Gal is remarkable as Wonder Woman and brings a majestic and otherworldly charm to her character.

With praises coming from all quarters, Gal is completely on cloud nine and more so, because she landed the role amidst much controversy. Not many people, associated with the film, were happy with her being cast as Wonder Woman. It was said that she is too thin.

But, the 5 feet 10 inches former Miss Israel and army trooper proved everyone wrong. She trained hard and brought her best to the table. She took a rigorous training in martial arts and sword work for nine months to get into the skin of Wonder Woman.

And it goes without saying that the hard work has paid off. Gal, who is also a mother of 4-year-old girl, says that she is very happy to play Wonder Woman as children, need female superheroes who they can look up to.

She also wants other actresses to join the league and play more women heroes.
