When "The Sims 4" launched in 2014 and 2015 for Windows and Mac respectively, the game became an instant hit. New reports say that soon enough, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players can enjoy it too.

"The Sims 4" is expected to be launched on console soon, if reports are to believed. The launch ports for the game is already in the process but the developers are facing challenges with regards to its technical process.

There has been no information about the release of when console version of the game will arrive. But, some reports even say that it might be launched early this month. However, as March is over and there is no news from Electronic Arts (EA), it is yet to be seen when the console version of the game will be launched. Until then, fans would have to play their favorite game, "The Sims 4," on PC which gets updated regularly.

The latest update of game, Spring Challenge, lacks expansion pack for March which has disappointed many gamers. However, the patch will give them new missions and challenges to play with.

According to the Sims community manager, fans will get a new patch soon. When the gamers asked the community manager about a patch launch, he responded with a "no." However, there are still rumors that the game will receive its next update, restaurant themed patch, soon.

There have been many speculations about the release of Sims 4 on consoles but no official word has been announced yet.

There is also word that Sims 4 may not come out on consoles at all. If that happens, fans will be very disappointed but like they say, in this case, no news is good news.
