It looks like singer Zayn Malik and supermodel Gigi Hadid are headed for a bright future. Both seem to be working hard on making their relationship work.

The evidence of the blooming bond came out in the open when the model's mother and reality star Yolanda Hadid congratulated the singer on the great going of his latest album "Mind of Mine". Yolanda took to her Twitter page, on Friday, to send her congratulatory greetings, calling Malik as a sweet one. She also tagged her daughter Gigi in the tweet. Zayn responded admirably and immediately retweeted her message.

Now this is quite a positive sign for the couple and will definitely strengthen their bond because it was widely reported in recent times that Yolanda was apprehensive of her daughter's 4-month-old relationship. And she had reasons too.

Both Zayn and Gigi started dating in November after her split from Joe Jonas. Just a few months before, in August 2015, he had separated from Perrie Edwards and was quite heartbroken about calling it quits. His latest single "It's you" is also said to be dedicated to his former girlfriend and an ode to their 4-year-old relationship. It does not feature Gigi either who was there in his first video of Pillowtalk.

However, it looks like both have moved on from their past and want to make a new start. They have been spotted together on multiple occasions and Zayn is very protective of his model girlfriend. Gigi is also supportive of Zayn and has been actively cheering him during his performances.

At the iHeartRadio studios, she was seen singing along to the tracks while Zayn performed on stage. They also spent some quality time backstage, before the performance.

It is worth mentioning here that for both the celebrities, this is their third relationship. Before Perrie, Zayn had dated Geneva Lane and Gigi had a relationship with Cody Simpson before she met Joe Jonas.
