The Bachelorette News Update and Spoilers: Group Date for JoJo, Ben Roethlisberger, Hines Ward and Steelers Players

The current season of The Bachelorette, premiering on May 23, 2016 will see some great action with Ben Roethlisberger, Hines Ward and other Steelers players making an entry, in a group date, to woo brunette JoJo Fletcher.

This was revealed by show creator Mike Fleiss who has been updating fans and followers with some interesting tidbits about the reality show, through his Twitter handle. He posted significant updates on the microblogging site with behind-the-scenes news and snaps on Tuesday.

An update indicated an advantage for one of the contestants and it is being said that he is none other than Jordan Rodgers, the younger footballer brother of NFL superstar- Aaron Rodgers. Earlier, the US Weekly had also reported about the bright chances of Jordan and counted him as one of the frontrunners among the 25 contestants. One of the sources from the show was quoted as saying that he and JoJo have hit it off pretty well.

Meanwhile, Fleiss has been really giving fans some exciting news and on Tuesday, the creator shared a snap of JoJo with the three players. He also divulged the details of the group date, saying that it was held in Pittsburgh and the group had a nice time at the restaurant. Taking a dig at JoJo, he wondered how she manages to stay slim after downing a Primanti Bros. sandwich.

It may be mentioned here that the current season's bachelorette Joelle "JoJo" Fletcher is a real estate developer. The 25-year-old was the runner-up on the recently concluded season 20 of "The Bachelor". She lost to Lauren Bushnell who won the heart of Ben Higgins, a software salesperson.

JoJo's name was announced as the lead of "The Bachelorette" several weeks ago, during the "After the Final Rose" episode of "The Bachelor".
