The Conjuring fans can enjoy more adrenaline rush and as a new film installment directed by James Wan is set to come out this year. This week, the trailer for The Conjuring 2 hits the Internet promising more suspense and dread.

Paranormal experts Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) continued their goal of helping people haunted by the devil. This time, they are set to help a single mom with her four children in Enfield, London whose lives have been disturbed by some strange happenings in their house.

Tension heightens when the Warrens intervened and spirits in the form of a creepy nun ghost and some scary choir singing in the background made the trailer hair-raising.

In an interview, James Wan talks about how he selected his plot for The Conjuring 2 saying that it took him some time to decide from the 4,000 - 10,000 paranormal activities that Ed and Lorraine encountered in their lives.

"It was a bit of a challenge to decide which story would be the next to follow up the first Conjuring with," Wan said at the WonderCon 2016 as he presented the trailer for the movie.

While presenting the trailer, the director warned the audience that the new film installment cannot help but have some connection with the previous Amityville horror.

"We knew that in some ways we had to touch on their most famous case, and that is Amityville. Amityville in some ways dictated what the rest ... would be. We wanted to find a story that mirrored each other," he explained

While also mentioning a bit about his other movie project, the  DC Warner Brothers film Aquaman, a member of the audience asked him if he wants to give his personal twist on the horror movies he is working on.

"If you can find something great, that's great, but if not, why do it? I've never looked at anything from that perspective. My work, me a lot of times, has been inspired by the horror stories I grow up with. I'd like to creating new stuff if I could. If I come across anything I can put my own stamp on that already exists, I wouldn't be opposed to it," he said.

The Conjuring 2 will reach UK theaters in June 17th 2016 with Warner Bros playing paid-previews on June 13th 2016.
