Carpool Karaoke News Update: Jennifer Croons with Corden, DiCaprio Joins the Revelry
As James celebrated his first anniversary as the host of the "The Late Late Show", debuting on primetime special, he had Jennifer Lopez for company, singing "Jenny from the Block" during the carpool karaoke.
However, what took viewers by surprise was the moment when Hollywood hunk Leonardo DiCaprio also became a part of the special segment, in a special manner. Well, he did not make an entry from the backseat, neither did he join the duo on the way.
It all happened when Corden took Lopez's phone in jest and refused to give until he had his share of fun. The jovial host then decided to text one of her contacts. After fiddling with the names of many A-listers like Iggy Azalea, Bradley Cooper, Ronaldo, Fergie, Demi Lovato, Cristiano and The Rock, he zeroed in on Leo and sent him an unbelievable text asking for his suggestion saying that she felt like cutting loose.
Lopez looked a little embarrassed, but carried on with Corden, belting out another of her hit "On the Floor", when her phone rang with Leo's reply. The Oscar winner texted back asking her if she meant tonight, in the club.
This was completely epic, but the cherry on the cake was him addressing her as "Boo Boo" as per sources. Jennifer was quite amused and could not believe that he is serious. Later, she said that she feels he had got the prank.
Jennifer's entry was a pleasant delight on the show and nothing could have made the anniversary more memorable. She thoroughly enjoyed the ride and also revealed many things about herself, including the fact that her butt was not insured as the rumors would like us to believe.
Jennifer proved to be a great guest and the show was also a hit. Corden had a recap of some popular moments with Adele, Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber and Steve Wonder. It also featured a new song about being in the primetime.
