The popular TV series "The Voice" is all set to enter its eleventh season with two new names- pop star Miley Cyrus and songstress Alicia Keys as coaches. The super hit NBC show, which starts in the fall of 2017, will have Adam Levine and Blake Shelton staying on as judges.

Now this is some unique development as it is for the first time that the show will have two male and two female judges on the panel. In all the ten seasons, aired till now, audiences have seen only one female judge with the ratio being a constant 3:1.

According to reports, the two female singers are replacing Pharrell Williams and Gwen Stefani. The news is being hailed by fans and the channel is also excited at having the A-listers on its panel.

The President at NBC Entertainment, Paul Telegdy, has expressed happiness at having roped in two talented women. He believes that the upcoming season will be a magical one, in the company of the duo's incredible musical expertise and energy.

Meanwhile, NBC has not confirmed anything about Williams and Stefani leaving the show. As per reports, Stefani is busy with the promotion of her latest album, "This Is What the Truth Feels Like" which was recently at the top, on the Billboard 200.

Notably, Williams has done four seasons and joined the show in 2014. Alicia also worked with his team in that very year. As for Miley, she is an adviser in the current season. So, altogether it seems the going will be fine in 2017 as the new entrants are aware with the format and functioning.

It is worth mentioning here that "The Voice" is a premier show on NBC but its ratings have received a slight drop in recent years.
