"Sense8", Netflix's sci-fi web series, came out in 2015. This critically acclaimed show since then has not revealed an official word about season 2 release date. As a result, the show fans are scouring the internet for clues on when the series will make a come back to the small screen. However, crew members of the show have dropped subtle hints about the forthcoming show's potential release date.

Tina Desai, actress who plays pharmacist Kala Dandekar on the show, tweeted just after Christmas that she was on her way to Berlin to film the show's second season. "Boarding the flight for Berlin- Sense8 S2 shoot!!!," the actress said.

With that small tweet, speculation was rife that the second season of "Sense8" may come in August this year. According to news reports, the team took about seven months to shoot the show's previous season. By that logic, if the filming began in December, then the most probable date of release comes down to August 2016.

According to John Toll, the show's main director of photography, "Sense8" may actually begin shooting later than it is anticipated. In a recent interview, Toll was asked if he would like to come back for the show's second run. He said, "I think so. We're talking about it. It's just sort of starting to fall into place with scheduling and everything." He added that they may start filming in March.

J. Michael Straczynski, creator of "Sense8" explained on Twitter, saying, "It's a separate shoot to grab footage during the holiday, not the start of full-on main unit shooting."

Nothing has been confirmed by Netflix about the second season premier yet.
