The news of Call of Duty 2016 is official. However, there is no official announcement about the date. Rumor has it that the new version of COD may be called Call of Duty: Bloodlines, but this rumor remains unverified so far.

If the game is indeed called Bloodlines, it will deviate from Ghosts 2, but there is also strong anticipation that it may carry on with the Ghosts series. Activision has not revealed any details about the game, including the information about the game developer.

While there is still not much known about the game yet, Activision is sharing small details every now and then. It is possible that the first look of the game will be revealed through a game trailer soon. The gameplay videos will give a pretty clear idea of what the game will look like on PS4.

While there is no official news about the game's release date, November release seems more likely as for the last seven years, the company has always released a COD installment in the first two weeks of the month.

There is a lot of anticipation about what the game will, is it Ghosts 2? WW2? Bloodline? According to a credible insider source, the game will most likely be called Call of Duty: Bloodlines. There is no more information about the game's setting. Since bloodlines refer to where someone came from, it is possible that the game is based in WW2 setting as that is where the bloodline of most COD characters belongs. However, a contradictory report says that the game will be a sequel to Ghost and will be called Call of Duty: Ghosts 2.

While it is certain that the game is coming, its release date and name is still left best to guesses. It is possible that Activision will make an official announcement sometime in April as the company is known to share details and first look of their upcoming games in the last week of April or first week of May.
