Maria Maples, ex-wife of the controversial politician Donald Trump, ended her Marilyn Monroe inspired performance with a cartwheel as she outshines on the season premiere of the "Dancing with the Stars". She perfected this particular move years ago on Broadway. She claims that with her flamboyance and mastery in the show, she wishes to be an inspiration and a role model for her daughter and for all women over the age of 50 who could look upon her.

On the other hand, Geraldo Rivera from Fox News did struggle to get the rhythm through his cha-cha. He was highly bothered by the fact that he was forgetting his moves corresponding to the dance number as per reports.

Apart from that, Good Morning America's Chief Meteorologist Ginger Zee displayed elegance and grace as she performed the ballroom. Her performance and gracious moves made it extremely difficult to realize that she gave birth to a baby mere three months ago. GMA's anchors were present in the show to cheer for Zee, but had to rush back to work in New York as they had to cover the breaking news of the terror attacks which took place at Brussels. It is really an exhausting task to fly back and forth in 18 hours or so as they had to cover up the important catastrophic event which plagued Brussels.

The hosts Tom Bergeron as well as Erin Andrews were back to the ballroom as well. It is an extremely emotional event for the host as he is returning after losing both of his parents in the unfortunate incident. Erin, as well, breaks her silence for the first time since the peeping Tom Trials after winning the jury award of 55 million dollars.

All the actions and emotions flowing in the ballroom, added to the overall spice of the show.
