Apple has unveild its new phone iPhone SE at the Apple Event today. 

"Many, many customers have asked for this," said Apple CEO Tim Cook during Apple's launch event regarding the new iPhone SE. "And I think they're going to love it. 

Summary

- 4 Inch Screen Size

- same screen resolution as the iPhone 5s: 1,136 by 640 pixels, which comes out to 326 pixels per inch (ppi). 

-  64-bit Apple A9 processor

-  embedded M9 motion co-processor which is same as the iPhone 6S 

- 12-megapixel iSight camera with a dual-tone flash and

- Ability to shoot Live Photos and 4K video 

iPhone SE Price

The new iPhone SE starts at $399 with 16GB of storage and maxes out at $499 with 64GB. 

In the UK, the new, small phone will begin at £359 for the 16GB model, in each of the five colours. The 64GB version will be available for £439. 

Battery life

 iPhone SE will give up to 13 hours of Wi-Fi browsing battery life and 14 hours of talk time.

Colors

Same as iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, the iPhone SE will come in space gray, silver, gold and rose gold. 

When Can You Buy It?

In most countries, orders will open on 24 March and the phones will go on sale on 31 March. 

Apple said it sold 30 million four-inch iPhones in 2015, so there's surely a demand for a smaller and cheaper iPhone. However, it's still uncertain how this new smaller version will influence the future iPhone 7 sales and current iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus models.
