The character playing Dwight, Austin Amelio is the recent addition to the cast of "The Walking Dead" and he has been instantly trending as the evil guy in the plot.

His introduction in the sixth episode this season was rather mild and subtle wherein he stole Daryl's motorcycle and crossbow. This jerk move was, however, no comparison to the plot in Dwight 2.0 which was to be telecasted on Sunday.

Dwight shot Denise dead and then taunted Daryl. Things got really bad and dirty when Eugene decided to make a meal out of the organ, and in the process distract the saviors. The Walking Dead saw a mentionable change in the character of Dwight in terms of both physical appearance as well as the harrowing characterization of the personality. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Austin Amelio shares his overall experience on how he prepared and got ready for the audition of the show the night before the actual audition. And, everything happened extremely swiftly and the fact that this was his first television appearance made the entire assignment more exciting and challenging.

The initial introduction to the character Dwight was quite interesting for him. And, the characterization appeared that he had always hung on to his values and morals, and was focussed on the world going back to what it was originally. However, with the passage of time, he is a different guy and have adopted and adjusted to the world. He has realized that the world always goes on, and there is no return path to it. In the episode, it is viewed that Dwight sort of taunts Daryl as he is not satisfied to follow certain rules which has been prescribed to him. However, that is the way it is, and he has not even had the slightest hesitation to make a kill.
