Episode 14 of Quantico, Season 1, had its fair share of twists and turns, with mystery strewn all around, but what caught everyone's eye was Alex's human side that came out in the open after Natalie's death according to TV Line.

Alex, who we saw, screaming and crying in the previous episode, came out stronger after Natalie was blown up in the conflagration. Something similar happened with Simon as well, but it does not seem to have evoked strength in him. He is completely shaken and despondent as is evident from his conversation with Alex.

Pointing to death, he says that he puts a gun every morning in his mouth and it tastes awful, but it is the only thing that feels right to him.

On the other hand, dealing with the accusation and the chase, Alex cannot let the tragedy get the better of her emotions. She is disturbed, but she has not given up. The task of clearing up her name is still far from over and she wants to Simon to help her to which he agrees.

However, the terrorist is keeping tabs on Alex and calls her during their conversation which makes us wonder how Alex is so sure that he/she will not find out about this new ally of hers. She ought to utilize her smarts and take some precautions while dealing with Simon.

In another development, she was seen confronting Liam on Chicago for Drew and he told her that the plan to sell FBI's AR15 rifles to a militia group was ruined as they fled with the weapons. Ryan took the blame as Liam could not afford another image-damage after Omaha.

Alex tells all this to Drew before the mock trial stand and he chooses to bare the truth about Liam as his girlfriend, Alicia, was one of two innocent bystanders who died during an armed robbery on the L train, in which AR15 rifles were used. Enraged, Liam kicks Drew out of Quantico and also takes Alex to task.
