The reality show, "The Bachelorette" have ultimately got another fresh "Bachelorette." It all happened at the live special show of the Bachelorette, on Monday right after the round of "Final Rose." It is the host of the show, Chris Harrison who declared the name of the next bachelorette. As per his announcement at the show, JoJo Fletcher has turned up to be the next bachelorette this season.

During the season's finale, Ben Higgins gave the final rose to Lauren Bushnell, who became the winner for 2016. So, JoJo Fletcher became the runners up and the 25-year-old real estate builder was ultimately left with no choice but to return back to her home in Texas, U.S. But now, as far as the news is concerned, it shows that she won't be there for long.

Since the declaration of JoJo being cast as the 'Bachelorette 2016' has been made, it has created a big fuss amongst all. The situation has stoked up a big controversy about the show. Many have even expressed their disappointment over the situation.

According to the Christian Post, Caila Quinn was the first choice of the show. However, Caila was eliminated out of 'The Bachelor' at the last moment. The sudden news made the fans disheartened and uncertain as to why the producer of the show selected JoJo Fletcher and that too at the last moment. Thus, the controversy between JoJo and Caila has definitely led to an argument on diversity, with many disclosing their disappointment over JoJo's casting. The entire decision to cast JoJo instead of Caila was done due to the former's storyline, which is much more enthralling and interesting.

ABC's president Mr. Paul Lee told TVLine in January he would be "very surprised" if the next "Bachelorette" "isn't diverse."

'The Bachelorette' premieres on 23rd May 2016 on ABC.
