Joel Fields, the Executive producer of "The Americans" has answers to all the questions that the viewers of this T.V series have in mind.

Fields contemplates that the new season will be driven by how Tim Pastor has raised the teenager. He claims it to be difficult specifically if you are working for the Russian intelligence. The kind of things that go in while handling a teenager who goes to the extent of holding a bomb that could have devastating consequences.

What to Expect from Season four:

-The confession Paige made to Pastor Tim may rectify her relationship with her parents. Their frigid relationship will witness much improvement. The teen is said to learn on how Elizabeth was raised and the rapport she shared with her own mother. This helps her recognize the underlying reason behind the strained bond they share. Nonetheless with the revelation she has had of her parents, the struggle to heal wounds would be an uphill task.

 -The growing friendship between Stan and Henry poses a threat to Henry's parent's identities. However, Stan's intentions are ambiguous. Nonetheless Emmerich believes that they are filling out the void in their respective lives.

-Getting up, close and personal to Stan's soon to be ex wife wasn't the right card to play. It leaves a complicated mess between Philip and Stan. Nobody wants to exasperate an FBI agent.

- The veil is off. Philip has disclosed his real identity to Martha. It has left her spinning in the viciousness of the deception. What will be her choice? In addition, Stan's curiosity and suspicion on the death of Gene has spiked. He is dubious of Martha and pursues his investigation.

 -Nina is left in prison and is seen opening up to Anton. She wonders if being a traitor was worthwhile. Stan is however trying every measure to help her get out. He considers himself responsible for her fate.
