The highly-anticipated album of rapper Drake, "Views from the 6" will officially release sometime in the month of April this year. His longtime producer Noah "40" Shebib has confirmed the news.

Noah is reported to have said in an interview that the duo is very close to finishing the album and it will hit the airwaves within a month's time. It is in the final stages and the rapper is working hard on it. He also said that they are wrapping up things very carefully and the time will come soon when Drake will be ready to pull the trigger.

The duo seems to have locked themselves up in the studio for some time and thus, the news comes as a great relief. This fourth studio record of Drizzy will also feature top-notch artists such as Beyonce and Willow Smith. Though the superstar has not yet confirmed any date, he has clearly indicated a quick release and repeatedly said that he is working damn hard.

Drake had also dropped hints last month, regarding the release, when the billboards had started coming up in Toronto. Interestingly, one of the billboards said "Four plus two equals 6, which was interpreted by the media and fans to be 4/2/16. Hence, it is no surprise that the album will be releasing in April 2016. The album has been in the news for a long time and Drizzy had announced the title way back in 2014.

The rapper has received nice reviews from fans on the first single debut "Summer Sixteen" but brash and outspoken radio host Charlamagne Tha God has not taken kindly to the lyrics. He has slammed Drizzy for the lyrics that belittle Kanye West and Jay-Z.

Charlamagne however stresses that Drake should first reach the level of Jay, thought he or nobody can be Jay, and then use such lyrics.
