Captain America Civil War Trailer and News: Spiderman’s Appearance Delights Marvel Fans

The latest trailer for Captain America: Civil War has brought many rumors to rest as the two and a half minute trailer features Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time. The appearance occurs in the final few seconds of the video affectively putting an end to the legal battle between Sony Pictures and Marvel. It is reported that Sony has agreed to share contractual rights with Marvel in order to save the franchise. The trailer contains glimpses of the battle between Team Iron Man and Team Captain America which culminates in the appearance made my Spider-Man. The last few seconds involves him tackling Captain America and posing with his shield creating a symbolic union between Sony Pictures and Marvel.

Spider-Man's appearance has also led to celebration amongst the fan community with most of them lauding the way the character has been portrayed. Though changes have been made to the costumes created by Todd McFarlane and Mark Bagley, a few changes have been made. Fans have taken to social media to highlight the eyes of the Spider-Man mask that are both smaller and animated.

The age of the actor playing the role of Spider-Man is also a contributing factor to the hype surrounding the movie. Since the character portrayed in the comic is a high school student, Spider-Man movies in the past have faced criticism about choosing actors that do not fit the mould of a teenager. Tom Holland, the actor portraying Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War is 19 years old and is seemingly adapted from Brian Michael Bendis' version of the superhero.

Captain America: Civil War is scheduled to be released during May 2016 and is currently one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Spider-Man's debut in the trailer is considered an added treat for fans as they anticipate a face-off between the strongest members of the Marvel Cinematic universe.
