Blaze Pizza will celebrating Pi Day, on Monday, March 14, by offering $3.14 pizzas.

Locally, the chain are located in San Jose (Almaden Plaza), Fremont (Pacific Commons Boulevard), San Francisco (Stonestown Galleria) and just outside the Bay Area in Tracy (Grant Line Road). All locations are open until 10 p.m.

The company is backed by investors Clevelands Cavs Superstar LeBron James and Maria Shriver, among others, sold more than 75,000 pizzas on Pi Day in 2015. They plan to sell twice more that number this year.

Pi is the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. The number equates to around 3.14. In 2009, March 14 was officially designated as Pi Day. Pizza restaurants are celebrating the day with different kind of deals and special offers.

According to piday.org: "Pi has been calculated to over one trillion digits beyond its decimal point. As an irrational and transcendental number, it will continue infinitely without repetition or pattern. While only a handful of digits are needed for typical calculations, Pi's infinite nature makes it a fun challenge to memorize, and to computationally calculate more and more digits"
