However, according to Christian Today, MacBook Air will be released in March but MacBook Pro 2016 will be unveiled in June during Apple's annual WWDC event.

Reportedly, the updated MacBook Air will have a reduced weight and improved battery life. The longstanding Haswell processor might also get replaced by the Skylake processor to compete with the contemporaries.

Expected screen sizes for the upcoming MacBook Air could comprised of three variants, 12-inch type, a 13-inch model and a 15-inch version.

Apple is widely expected to hold a major press event in March 2016, with many pundits predicting that this will fall on 21 March and see the launch of the iPhone SE and iPad Air 3, MacWorld noted.
