Macbook Pro 2016 release date could be as soon as next week, in the upcoming Apple event. Reportedly the big event is to be held somewhere between March 15 to 21. As of now, the current MacBook Pro models are being spotted with discounts which further hints that the new MacBook Pro release date is near.

According to Apple Insider, MacBook Pro was under discount sales for four days. Buyers could choose MacBook model MJLT2LL/A for $2,179 with free shipping. Additionally, buyers also received a free notebook stand.

Christian Today reported that the Cupertino based tech-giant has reinvented the whole laptop. The company might have used all of its resources just to come up with the best laptop ever. The laptop is expected to be powerful, slimmer, lighter and with an improved battery life.

Reports further claim that aside from the Skylake processor, the upcoming Apple laptop will also have a touchscreen feature, a first for all Apple laptops.

MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to come out in a variety of sizes - 12-inch, a 13-inch and a 15-inch version.

Laptops from Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard and Dell already have the "Skylake" 6th Generation Intel Core Processor and Apple is only one the few companies left to adapt. Reportedly, the "Skylake" architecture increases the battery life and graphics. The processor is a must have in all laptops since consumers are becoming more reliant on these products, Ecumenical News reported.

Rumors also suggest that the the laptop might have a solar powered feature because of the recent move of Apple acquiring a patent with solar-related equipment.
