Pop star Justin Bieber has been placed under watch with the police discussing the possibility of a  citizen's arrest with his neighbors in the posh Beverly Hills apartment where he is currently residing.

The police revealed that they received six calls between Saturday night and Sunday morning (July 19 and 20) for loud noise and disruption from his neighbors for a rooftop party he was holding.

"We responded six times this past weekend, as late as 3 a.m. Four were for the party, and two were calls for screaming fans outside," Sgt. Max Subin with the Beverly Hills Police told The News.

Police discussed with  Bieber's neighbors at his new five-story building about the possibility of placing him under citizen arrest, if they notice any illegal activities going on in his penthouse apartment, New York Daily News reported.

According to officials, if the Beverly Hills police department cites Bieber's involvement in any illegal activities, it will forward the matter to the Los Angeles County Probation Department, which could trigger a probation violation and then he may land in jail.

Over the last month, the police have responded to numerous incidents involving Bieber at the condominium related to noise and weed.

"Our officers went there and advised residents there are three ways to handle any situations of this nature; we can give a citation for municipal code violations. There's the possibility of arrest by us for something done in front of us. And the third way is a private person's arrest for a misdemeanor not committed in police presence." said Sgt. Subin.

Sergant Subin said  Bieber's parties are a regular weekend event  and his department was trying  to be pro active and ensure that other residents don't face any discomfort.

Bieber is currently on a two-year probation for pelting a neighbor's house in his earlier Calabasas residence with eggs, repeated complaints will land the pop star in jail, say officials.
