Tech rumors are always circulating in the gadget world with varying degrees of accuracy. However, as the Mobile World Congress draws near, Samsung appears to have failed to keep a tight lid on its new flagship specs and features.

Recent leaks seems to confirm what tech buffs have already known through numerous updates in rumor land. According to technology insiders, the S7 model is built according to IP67 standard which means that the handset will have total protection against dust and water immersion between 15cm and 1m' in a report by Independent.

Also, in an apparent failure to keep tech secrets from coming out, Samsung Indonesia may have accidentally uploaded a YouTube video of the purported Galaxy S7 Edge dubbed as "TheNExtGalaxy" in the video although no specific name has been dropped in the teaser.

The 60-second long video features Indonesian archer Dellie Threesyadinda with "TheNExtGalaxy" phone in her training emphasizing durability, enhanced camera functions, wireless charging, and a seeming IP68 waterproof design as the clip shows the phone surviving a downpour of rain as mentioned in a Tech Radar blog article.

On top of a leaked IP68-rated waterproof design, the flagship will be equipped with a 12 megapixel rear-facing camera, QHD AMOLED display, and a microSD slot to complete an array of exciting features that should compete well with its iPhone 7 rival as stated in a report by Phone Probe.

Despite some interesting add-ons to the 2016 handsets, the mobile devices are not expected to look radically different from its S6 predecessors. Analysts and observers say that the S6 designs last year were already a major alteration from earlier Samsung designs so a total departure is extremely unlikely.
