Harrison Ford's leg injury in the filming of Star Wars: The Force Awakens is recently re-examined by the Britain's Health and Safety Executive, or HSE which proclaimed that Foodles Production (UK) Ltd, the studio where the production took place should be charged for allegedly breaching safety and health rules.

CNN remembered that the then 71-year old actor was hit by a heavy hydraulic door while working in the set of the Millennium Falcon at the Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, England in his role as Hans Solo for the trilogy.

"Cast and crew safety is always a top priority. We provided full co-operation during HSE's investigation into the on-set accident that occurred in June 2014 and are disappointed in HSE's decision.

By law, employers must take reasonable steps to protect workers - this is as true on a film set as a factory floor. We have investigated thoroughly and believe that we have sufficient evidence to bring the case to court," the HSE said in a statement as mentioned in USA Today.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the seventh movie of Lucasfilm purchased by Disney. The JJ Abrams film is said to have garnered a $2 billion sales in worldwide box office since its release two months ago.

An eighth installment of the film, directed by Rian Johnson, has also been currently filmed and is set to hit theaters next year.

Before landing in his stellar Hans Solo role in 1973, Harrison Ford had his share of ups-and-downs in the film industry. According to Mashable, Ford had starred in the late 1960s films Love, American Style and A Time For Killing but decided to take a hiatus and become as a carpenter before he was discovered by George Lucas.

In 1973, he auditioned a role for Lucas' American Graffiti that eventually paved him to do George Lucas's Star Wars movie project.
