The Golden State Warriors are one step closer to having their five starters back on court.

According to several reports, Harrison Barnes, who has been out with a sprained left ankle, could be ready for Monday night's game against the Charlotte Hornets after he was listed as "probable." Barnes has missed the last 16 games.

Per Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports:

Before the injury, Barnes was averaging 13.4 points with five rebounds in 30.1 minutes. He has played in a total of 17 games and was shooting 50 percent from the field. From the three-point line, he was shooting 38.9 percent.

Since Barnes' injury, the Warriors have used Brandon Rush, Ian Clark and James Michael McAdoo to fill his role.

The Warriors point guard, Stephen Curry, however, is still questionable for tonight's game. Curry reinjured his shin in the second quarter of Saturday's game against the Denver Nuggets, which the Warriors won 111-108 in overtime.

Curry, the reigning 2015 MVP, has had a stellar season so far. He averaged 29.7 points with 6.4 assists and 5.5 rebounds.

The Warriors still do not have coach Steve Kerr back yet. Kerr took a leave of absence prior to the start of the season so that his back can heal properly from the two surgeries that he had. Luke Walton has filled in as the interim coach. There is no timetable for Kerr's return.

The Warriors will play the Hornets at 10:30 p.m. at Oracle Arena.
