Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj fought side by side as the male rapper goes to court on Thursday and was sentenced guilty in a court in Philadelphia for his probation violation.

According to Inquisitr, the 28-year old pleaded Judge Genece Brinkley to give him a second chance however the judge was not swayed at all and have ordered the sentencing of the rapper who will be restricted from joining any tours with the Pink Friday singer.

"How many times am I supposed to give him a second chance?" the judge said.

Mill's manager, Shawn Gee also explained the judge the importance of Mill's freedom to travel in the music industry wherein his income greatly lies.

"The unpredictability of shows is, unfortunately, part of the business. A large portion of his income probably comes from those one-off tours that are inherently unpredictable," Gee told the judge.

In his one-hour testimony, the All Eyes On You rapper is said to have been emotional due to his inability to see his mother in New Jersey after she underwent surgery. Also, the rapper apologized the judge for calling her a 'bitch' in his diss track, The Ride, TMZ reported.

However, he gets very dramatic when he insists he is not a bad person and is trying to do better since his first probation in 2009.

"I'm not a gangsta. I'm not a criminal. I have my queen, Nicki [Minaj] now. I'm trying to do better and feel like I can be the best rapper out there," he told the judge.

Last week, Nicki Minaj also testified about Mill's weakness as a person.

"He doesn't have a lot of structure. He can be irresponsible. Since I've come in his life, I think I've been working on that a little bit. ... He's just getting accustomed to being an adult."

Mill's latest lawyer, latest lawyer, Frank DeSimone also said that the sentence that will require him to get travel vouchers in his tour dates and to talk to his probation officer every 60 days may be inconvenient for him.

He's not a person who knows how to keep schedules. He's not an accountant. He's an artist. And those people are notoriously slipshod (at organization)," DeSimone said in defending Mill via FoxNews.
