Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas Is You" has been hitting the airwaves in the entire Christmas season since its release in 1994. However, a recent survey by PlayNetwork announced that a new song has taken over the songstress' throne this year.

According to US Magazine, PlayNetwork collected hundreds of playlists from hundreds of retailers every year and guess what they found out! In their study, they said that The Shin's cover of 'Wonderful Christmastime' has been hailed as No. 1 this year.

Mariah fans should not despair though as her song has just slid down one notch away from its undisputed spot for two decades.

Other songs that completed the PlayNetwork's playlist include: Christmas Time" by Christina Aguilera in the 3rd spot, (4th) Christmas Wrapping" by The Waitresses, (5th) Someday at Christmas" by Jack Johnson, (6th) "Underneath the Tree" by Kelly Clarkson, (7th) "Holly Jolly Christmas" by Michael Bublé, (8th) "White Christmas" by Bing Crosby, (9th) "What Christmas Means to Me" by Train and (10th) "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" by Ella Fitzgerald.

Despite being hailed as the Top 2 most listened-to Christmas track, the songstress' Christmas album is still considered one of the biggest top-selling albums of all time making Mariah Carey getting the title Christmas Queen, The Inquistr said.

As for Mariah's Christmas this year, the singer is slated to appear on the made-for-TV Christmas movie A Christmas Melody on December 19 this Sunday at the Hallmark Channel, Billboard reported.

Also, the 45-year old singer is set for a Sweet Sweet Fantasy tour in Europe starting on March 15 next year at Glasglow and is scheduled to end sometime May in South Africa.
