One year after their wedding on September 2014, star-studded couple George Clooney and British-Lebanese barrister, Amal Alamuddin are keen to have their own family. Since the barrister's pregnancy plans were not realized yet, the couple is rumored to have seriously considered adopting a child.

"George never expected to find the happiness he has with Amal so is now open to the possibility of becoming a family man. He and Amal have both said they love the idea of adopting a child in need in the future and have spoken to Brad and Angelina about this. George sees the bond Brad shares with his children and he wants that too," a source from Closer magazine said as mentioned in IB Times UK.

Further, the source said that the couple has done some renovations in their 17th century London mansion to accommodate their future kids.

"George and Amal are trying for a family. They've already started preparing and told pals how they've built matching baby wings in both homes, complete with a nursery, a baby spa, a playroom, children's library and quarters for their nanny."

Another source said that the couple is considering adopting a child from a war-torn countries like Syria as part of Amal's sympathy on the sad plight of kids in these countries, IB Times India reported.

However, the couple might have difficulty in pursuing this plan.

"But even if the couple are looking to adopt, it's unlikely they will be able to do so in Syria under American law, as the US embassy in Damascus states that Syria, 'as a Shari'ah law country, does not recognise or provide for adoptions of Muslim children'," the source who first reported in Woman's Magazine said.

Since their wedding, George and Amal have spent a lot of time away from each other thus causing divorce rumors to spark. But these rumors are put to rest when they celebrate their first year anniversary with close pals at the Electric Cinema in Notting Hill.

"They don't have to be together every single day of the year because the relationship is so secure. The more [George] gets to know her the more in love, happy and content he seems," a previous source explained as mentioned in Design and Trend.
