The 19 year old teenager and confident supermodel, Kendall Jenner, who will no longer be a teenager come next week, revealed on her blog how acne had pulled down her confidence and self-esteem during her growing up ages. The skin condition had erupted when she was in the 8th or 9th grade and severely impacted her life. Once upon a time, she was not as confident as the girl she is today.

Kendall Jenner was quoted as saying on her blog, "I think I just got acne from being a teenager and simply growing up, which happens to SO many people, but, where it really impacted me was how self-conscious I became about it. It completely ruined my self-esteem. I wouldn't even look at people when I talked to them. I felt like such an outcast; when I spoke, it was with my hand covering my face.", reports Daily Mail.

Her older sisters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney used to advise her to remember just two things when it comes to acne and that is too keep the hands of your face and to never pick, reports Perez Hilton.

According to reports by People StyleWatch, the realty star further admitted that she had crushes on boys in school but wouldn't dare to dream of even looking at them as her self-confidence was so low owing to her terrible bouts of acne. It took an emotional toll on Kendall, but by being open about it and talking to her family about it, it helped her deal with the emotional issues and move on. Further, with the aid of a dermatologist and laser genesis (skin therapy) she became acne-free eventually and garnered her confidence up.
