If the season is going to be anything like the New York Knicks' final exhibition game, fans might have to start worrying.

In Thursday night's game, head coach Derek Fisher tested the starting lineup and although things started off well, the Knicks' game fell apart once Arron Afflalo left due to an injury in the third quarter. The Knicks ended up losing to the Boston Celtics by 99-85.

"We'll see over the next couple of days what his body tells us and we'll go from there," Fisher said about Affalo's hamstring. "We can't overanalyze something we don't understand yet. We'll figure out what the program is and what the treatment plan is and then we can kind of decide whether we should be concerned. I probably shouldn't have played him in the third quarter anyway. I had his minutes at 16 - that's what he was slotted for."

Affalo was one of the Knicks' sharper shooters, recording 10 points. Carmelo Anthony, on the other hand, never got a rhythm going and finished the night 4-of-18.

"I didn't have rhythm, I just missed - the ball didn't go in,'' Anthony said.

Despite his poor performance, Anthony was optimistic that the Knicks could have a good season.

"We had a good preseason, anytime you win four of six, we'll take it. It doesn't matter now. The real deal starts," he said. "I believe we could be good. We have an opportunity to be a good team.''

Once the season starts, the Knicks will expect many players to step it up. One of these players include rookie, Kristaps Porzinigis, who will most likely get the start at power forward. In the final preseason game, Porzingis got into early foul trouble and had to be benched. He was 4-of-9 for eight points, eight rebounds and four assists in 19 minutes.

"I got to be smarter,'' Porzingis said of the fouls. "I already had two fouls and can't make that mistake.''

The Knicks will be opening their season against the Milwaukee Bucks on Oct. 28 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
