George Clooney Amal Alamuddin Relationship Updates: Actor Not Running For President; Worried About Wife's Anorexic Figure

Unlike Kanye West, George Clooney has no plans in running for president or any other position in the government.

"I've been asked that for almost 20 years now and the answer is just no. Who would ever want to live like that? I'm friends with a lot of those guys and I just think it's hell," the Hollywood king said as cited in Design Trend.

"I commend people who go into public service because it's such a horrible way to get elected, it's such a horrible time while you're in office. It's more polarized now probably, arguably, since the Civil War in many ways and I think people will argue over things they believed in six or eight years ago because it's not their guy saying it," He continued.

Though not involved in politics, Clooney showed his activism in causes like fighting for Darfur in the United Nations in which he came up with a documentary Journey to Darfur and Sand and Sorrow, The Daily Beast said.

During this time, he was also responsible in the forging of an advocacy organization, Not On Our Watch with humanitarian pals Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Don Cheadle, and the late Jerry Weintraub.

Together, they are responsible in the making of the documentary, Journey to Darfur and Sand and Sorrow.

Meanwhile, since his wedding last year, the 54-year old actor has been busy keeping a balance between the demands in Hollywood and his duties being a husband to Amal Alamuddin.

Last week, tabloids are keen in saying that the UN lawyer is pregnant but with her very skinny frame, the pregnancy rumors are easily ditched aside. Some sources even said that Amal is a borderline anorexic, Classicalite reported.

And with that, the actor is worried about his wife's health.

"Amal desperately needs to put on some weight. Her arms are so thin and her collar bones jut out sharply. She looks like a walking skeleton. She has lost so much weight there are fears she is suffering from anorexia," a previous report said as cited in Celebrity Laundry.
