George R.R. Martin has released a book! Unfortunately for fans, it was not the book that they have been waiting patiently for.

Martin, the author behind the series, "A Song of Ice and Fire," which the HBO TV show, "Games of Thrones," is based on, unveiled his own coloring book. The book, which will be released by American publisher Bantam, includes 45 illustrations that are based from Martin's highly successful book series.

Some of the illustrators who were involved with creating the book include Yvonne Gilbert, John Howe, Tomislav Tomic, Adam Stower and Levi Pinfold.

The book, which will be released on October 27, is available for pre-order.

Although a coloring book might be exciting for some of Martin's fans, it is safe to say that the bulk of his fans want the sixth book, "Winds of Winter," to be released already. This book, in particular, will reveal the fate of fan favorite character, Jon Snow, played by Kit Harington.

*SPOILERS ALERT*

Snow was stabbed by the men of the Night's Watch in the fifth book, "A Dance of Dragons" and in the season 5 finale of "Games of Thrones." Ever since the show seemingly killed off Snow, fans have been eager to find out his true fate. Martin previously hinted that Snow would not be dead in his books.

"Games of Thrones" producers and actors, on the other hand, continue to tell viewers that Snow is dead. Since the show and the books have diverged already, it could be possible that Snow is alive in one and not in the other. However, Harington has been spotted filming in Belfast numerous times already, leading fans to speculate that Snow will be back. One of the most popular theories circulating the Internet is that Snow will be revived from the dead by Melisandre (Carice van Houten).

"Winds of Winter" is rumored to be coming out early next year while "Games of Thrones" should be premiering around April.
