Duggar Family Update: Jill And Jessa Allude To Josh's Molestation Scandal In ‘Counting On’ Teaser

The Duggars,with sisters Jill and Jessa, will be back in TLC months after the network cancelled the long-standing family-oriented reality TV show, 19 Kids and Counting in the heights of the Josh Duggar scandal and molestation.

In a teaser, Jill (Duggar) Dillard and Jessa (Duggar) Seawald now married to their husbands Derick Dilliard and Ben Seawald respectively, alludes about the sensitive issues of Josh's molestation and addiction to sex and pornography that has tampered their religious image.

"We were devastated. We couldn't believe it. You have to wonder, how did this happen?" Jessa said in front of the camera as mentioned in E! Online.

"You're angry and hurt and all those emotions all mixed together. I cried a lot of tears. I still do," Jill added in a teary-eyed manner.

Despite what happened, Jessa expressed her optimism as she and husband, Ben Seawald awaits for the arrival of their firstborn.

"Definitely with all the difficulties that my family has walked through, there's still a lot of exciting milestones ahead. [Seewald] and I are very excited to welcome our first little one into the world very soon," Jessa said as mentioned in ET Online.

Jill also added a positive note 'to come out stronger from the fire.'

"We will come out of this fire stronger as a family unit," she announced.

It was in July when TLC discontinued airing 19 Kids and Counting months after Josh's scandal was brought in the open. In the following months, more revelations came out in the closet as Josh checks into rehab with him confessing he cheated on his wife Anna and that he is addicted to pornography, Mail Online reported.

Josh was also included in the recent Ashley Madison leak when it was found out that he has two accounts in the infidelity site which further lead to confessions of sex workers he had hook ups in the past.

Still, the Duggar sisters showed determination to move on.

"We're excited for what the future holds," Jill said in the teaser.

19 Kids and Counting fans can now continue catching up with Jill and Jessa and the rest of the Duggars in the new spin-off, Counting On starting this December.
