The 17th Door in Tustin, California is the new haunted house on the block. It is so scary to be here that they make you sign a waiver, absolving themselves of any responsibility should something happen to you. The house contains 17 rooms and each one is scarier and more intense than the last one. The visitors of the house just need to remember one thing, shout "mercy" when you want to escape. As soon as you signed your responsibility away in the form of a waiver, you enter the twisted world of Paula as she is haunted by her past, says Daily Mail.

Also reported on News United, the horror enthusiasts claim that the 17th Room is perhaps the scariest of experience that is open to public. This project was started by a married couple, Robbie and Heather Luther, who invested over $100,000 into this venture. Visitors that visit this house are locked in each room in this illusory medical college for 90 seconds at a time. As the bell rings, one experience ends and the visitor is sent to another room for an even scarier ordeal. Every classroom is met with grotesque monsters who will not only touch you but can also lick you to give you a hair raising experience.

As told to LA Times by Robbie, this house was meant to be even scarier than it is now, so scary that it would be forced to shut down or spark protests. Some of their ideas were too intense and had to be snubbed. But as it can be seen, it is already too much. Since its opening, more than quarter of the visitors have shouted mercy long before the experience ended for them.
