Despite hiring James Foley to direct, "Fifty Shades Darker," the highly anticipated sequel to "Fifty Shades of Grey," there have been no casting progress at all. Since production is supposed to start early next year, the studio should be looking to hire a casting director very soon.

"We're nowhere near casting. We haven't gotten into anything like that. We don't even have a casting director on it yet," Dana Brunetti said.

The casting director will be in charge of filling the roles of key characters that should be introduced in the second movie, if the movies continue to follow the plot of E.L. James' books. The roles include Jack Hyde, Elena Lincoln/Mrs. Robinson and Leila Williams. The actors who have been repeatedly linked to these roles despite the lack of evidence are Henry Cavill, Ian Somerhalder, Theo James, Charlize Theron, Cara Delevingne and Alexis Bledel. Out of this group of actors, Cavill spoke out about the rumors, stating that he is not involved in the movie at all.

On top of the casting rumors, one popular rumor that has continued to circulate the Internet is Jamie Dornan's full frontal scene. The rumor claimed that Dornan, who plays Christian Grey, was offered at least $1 million to go full frontal in the second movie in order to appease fans' demand for raunchier scenes.

Although Dornan has not commented on this rumor, several reports noted that a full frontal scene would most likely not happen because a scene like that would most likely lead to a higher rating, such as an NC-17, which would then limit the movie's release.

'Fifty Shades of Grey," which brought in more than half a billion dollars in the worldwide box offices, allegedly had to keep the scenes less raunchy in order to get the R rating. Since the books are very graphic, a lot of fans were not too happy about the lack of intimate scenes in the first movie.

'Fifty Shades Darker' is scheduled to hit theaters on Feb. 10, 2017.
